Ingredients: Gete’ Squash, Maple Sugar
Gete’ winter squash marinated in Maple Sugar and then freeze dried. The squash’s fuller name is Gete-okosomin (meaning “Big Old Squash” in the Menominee language). And boy is it big! It can grow up to 30 pounds!
The squash proves to be deliciously sweet in taste, hints of melon and butternut squash. Our snack version is fun and sweet! Once you open a bag, it’ll be gone before you know it.
